Starting and Completing Split Jobs

Telstra Trades Assist allows you to split jobs over multiple workers and days to provide the flexibility to track a single job assigned across multiple workers or multiple days without having to create individual jobs for each worker or day.

This article shows you how to start and complete a split job using the iPhone or iPad app.

Accepting a Split Job

  1. Tap  from the tabs at the bottom

  1. Tap  on the job you wish to accept
  2. Scroll down to the split scheduled to yourself and tap  to accept the job

 

Starting a Split Job

  1. Follow Steps 1 to 2 above
  2. Tap  to start the job

Choosing a Job lead

Responsibilities within split jobs are broken into two sections, a job lead who is responsible for entering total labour and materials used on a job and workers who are only responsible for starting and completing their split of the job.

 

  1. Select the worker who will be the Job Lead then tap

Tip: complete your section of the split If you are working on a split job but aren’t the job lead, you only need to complete your section. 

  1. Tap  from the tabs at the bottom
  2. Tap  to open the job and locate your section of the split
  3. Tap  and your section of the split will be completed

 

Job Lead

  1. Tap  from the tabs at the bottom.
  2. Locate the job from the list of open jobs

  1. Tap
  2. Tap  on your section of the split

Tip: Check if the other workers splits are done before completing the job. If all workers associated to the job have not yet completed their own splits prior to you as the job lead completing the job, you will be presented with the option to tap as all workers will have to have completed their work in order to know the correct actuals to lodge for a job. Either select a new job lead and tap  or tap  to continue completing the job. 

 

  1. Tap  and update from the quoted labour above if required then tap

  1. Tap  and update from the quoted units above if required then tap

  1. Select the relevant payment option then tap

  1. Obtain the required signature then tap  to complete the job
