Here is a summary of the changes included in version 0.8.7

Features Added

iPhone and iPad App

  • With the recent release of the new iPad Pro, Telstra Trades Assist now takes advantage of FaceID available on the iPad Pro 12.9 inch (3rd gen) and iPad Pro 11 inch


Minor bug fixes and usability improvements

Admin Console

  • Customer name and email address are now visible when creating a Job from the Customer screen for a newly created Customer
  • The ‘Actual Total’ on the Job card now displays the correct value
  • The bank details on the invoice are now positioned higher on the page to avoid being cut off if printed
  • Improved log in flow for Xero integration and sync menu

iPhone and iPad App

  • Jobs created on the app which are missing mandatory information will only be synced to the Admin Console once all mandatory fields are completed, to ensure all Jobs contain minimum required information
  • Notifications have been improved so the user will be notified when they log into a second device that they will be logged out of the previous device to allow the app to sync properly
  • Three login failures will now clear the profile from the device and cause a timeout of 5 minutes before another login attempt can be made
  • If TouchID is enabled, it will remain as the primary login option unless ‘Cancel’ is selected, regardless of app inactivity time
  • Telstra Trades Assists now utilises all screen resolution available on the new iPad Pro


The changes will automatically be shown on the Admin Console next time you log in.  To update your iPad and iPhone app to version 0.8.7 follow these steps:

  1. Open the App Store on your device
  2. Tap Updates
  3. Find Telstra Trades Assist in the list
  4. Tap Update
