Release Notes 12 September 2018

We have recently released an update for Telstra Trades Assist. You can update your app by following these steps:

  1. Open the App Store on your device
  2. Tap Updates
  3. Find Telstra Trades Assist in the list
  4. Tap Update

Features added

Admin Console

  • MYOB AccountRight integration is now available
  • Suncorp partner tile is now available in Partners
  • Energy Space partner tile is now available in Partners
  • You can now add insurance policies in the My Business menu (click here to learn more)
  • Notification for expiring insurance policies will appear (click here to learn more)
  • You can now attach a PDF copy of Certificates of Currency to a job quote and send it to the customer (click here to learn more)
  • You can now send a copy of your Certificate of Currency directly to a customer (click here to learn more)

 

iPad and iPhone app

  • Notifications for expiring insurance policies will appear for the account owner (click here to learn more)
  • You can now attach a PDF copy of Certificates of Currency to a job quote and send it to the customer
  • The account owner can share a Certificate of Currency through the mobile app (click here to learn more)

 

Bugs resolved

Admin Console

  • Checklist status is now accurately displayed on a job/quote when added as part of a template
  • Checklists now trigger at the correct stages when being added to jobs
  • Updated the font on the Task Description menu
  • Updated the Suncorp renewal link
  • Corrected the text in the search bar at the top of the Planner
  • Site contacts can now be edited in Repeating Jobs
  • Saving pages without filling in mandatory data will now jump to the page which requires mandatory data to be filled in
  • The Actuals column on a customers’ job history now accurately reflects the correct data.
  • Pictures can now be deleted and restored to the default image
  • Corrected the title for the Edit Job Duration box
  • Updated the error message pop up for disabling a tax code in use to now show how many parts are using the tax code
  • Information tooltips regarding tax when creating a new part have been made clearer when referring to price
  • Apostrophes on quote and invoice emails now display correctly in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Apostrophes on emails generated from Partner tiles now display correctly in Microsoft Outlook
  • Deleting a worker who was previously signed in to Xero will no longer cause issues for other workers trying to sign in

 

iPad and iPhone app

  • Updated the wording on the Assign Job Lead menu to be more concise
  • Removed the phone icon from Team Check menu when the worker does not have a phone number in their profile
  • Tapping ‘Done’ after creating a new customer now properly closes the New Customer page
  • Tapping ‘Done’ after creating a new asset now properly closes the New Asset page
  • Workers now get a notification on their iPad or iPhone when the duration of their scheduled work is changed on the admin console
  • Removed the heading “Last Updated” from the new note page
  • New customers created on iPad or iPhone as part of the job creation process are now correctly synced across to the admin console
  • Jobs now schedule on the planner for the correct length of time, instead of defaulting to 15 mins
  • Corrected a visual issue on the iPad Planner preventing jobs to be viewed after 11pm
  • Jobs open on the Calendar will now close when switching between different workers’ calendars
  • Assets on the map are now marked with the customers' initials.
  • Removed a displayed error caused by opening the View Asset History option. This feature is not yet available
  • Text in the Notes menu is now aligned to the left
  • Changes made to a customer profile in the Calendar will immediately be reflected and no longer require a screen refresh
