Sharing Your Insurance Certification of Currency

Telstra Trades Assist can help you share your Certificate of Currency with a customer to confirm details of your current insurance policies.  You can choose to attach it by default to all quotes you send to your customers, or sent separately when requested.

This article shows you how to attach your insurance Certificate of Currency by default to all quotes within the Admin Console or to send it as a standalone document via email.

Emailing a Copy of Your Certification of Currency

  1. Click Icon1.png in the top right corner of the Admin Console
  2. Click MyBusiness.png (only visible to the business owner/primary Telstra Trades Assist account holder)
  3. Click Insurance.png
  4. Click Emailcert.png

  1. In the dropdown box, enter the email address you want to send the Certificate to
  2. Click Send.png to send

 

Attaching an Insurance Certificate of Currency to all Quotes by Default

Tip:  These options will only be visible if a Certificate of Currency has been attached to an insurance policy within Insurance as part of My Business Profile

When quoting a new job, you will have the option to attach Policy Certificates associated with your account. To learn how, click here 

Alternatively, you can set up a certificate to be attached to all quotes

  1. Click Icon1.pngin the top right corner of the Admin Console
  2. Click MyBusiness.png (only visible to the business owner/primary Telstra Trades Assist account holder)
  3. Click Insurance.png
  4. Click icon2.png on the insurance policy you want to attach a Certificate of Currency to every quote
  5. Click quote1.png to turn the toggle on quote2.png
  6. Click Done.png to save the new information to your policy
  7. Click Save.png to save all of the changes to your account.  If you do not click Save, the policy will not be stored

 

Tip:  If you do not quote work (for example, you work off of Purchase Orders or do and charge work) then you will need to use the manual certificate sending method mentioned in the Sharing a Copy of Your Certification of Currency section above.   Or you can share it directly off your iPad or iPhone.  To learn how click here:
