Pausing a Job

 

When you're on a job you might need to stop work due to bad weather, because you're held up waiting for parts or for other trades to complete their work.  Telstra Trades Assist lets you pause a job so that any delay doesn't affect your actual effort and time recorded to the job. 

This article will explain how to pause a job, how to resume it and how to identify a paused job while using the iPhone App.  If you are using the iPad, it will be similar.

 

Finding the Job

  1. Tap  from the top of the app
  2. Scroll to find the Job you need to pause

 

  1. Tap  and select  from the menu. Alternately, you can tap the Job to view the details, tap  for options and select  from the menu.

 

  1. A list of choices to provide a reason for pausing the Job, allows you to explain the circumstances. If one of these reasons isn’t why the job is paused, simply tap  as a generic reason.
  2. The top status bar of the Job will change from  to . An orange outline will surround the Job and the button will be replaced with .  If you selected Bad Weather or Awaiting parts , you will see the circumstance as the status of the pause.

Resuming the Job

  1. Tap 
  2. Scroll or search to find the Job you need to resume

 

  1. Tap . Alternately, you can tap the Job to view the details, tap  for options and select  from the menu.

 

  1. The orange outline will vanish and the top bar will change back to 

PAUSED
